With frame: H 32.5 cm, W 32.5 cm
Vitrocentre Romont, PSV 2069
Strongly stylised, even abstract view of the facades and rooftops of a city from a window. Composition with rectangles of different sizes and yellow, red, white and blue colours.
The artist grew up in Vienna and now lives and works in Zurich. She has been working with the technique of reverse glass painting since 1968, when she began practising this art autodidactically in her spare time. She later took instruction from the reverse glass painter Yves Siffer. Travelling abroad and contact with other cultures have had a particular influence on her work.
